Very fine Liberty pewter carriage Clock by Archibald Knox, England C.1903. The clock of rectangular shaped form, vibrant blue and green enamel dial, black roman numerals on copper background, original hands and glass, bordered with celtic motifs. Original French movement (8 day) in working order. Numbered on base 0721. Comes with original leather bound carriage case with hinged top. Previous sale prices for these clocks can be easily looked up online through Sotheby/Bonhams etc.
Height approx: 4 ½ inches. Width approx: 3 5/16 inches. Note: This was one of the earliest designs of clock by Knox.

Hunwick Interiors has been named after Ken's Great grandfather, Alfred, who arrived in Colchester from Kelvedon around 1920 and set up the first furniture, home accessory and 'lino' showrooms in Eld Lane, Colchester. Over the years since there have been many changes in both Colchester as a town and in a wider sense the furnishing industry as a whole, but in many ways the core features of what we are striving to achieve today are the same values pursued by Alfred Hunwick all those years ago.
