Antique Persian Afshar in rust, navy blue and gold - circa 1900 - Floral all over design with paisley border. Afshar weavers are renowned for their great weaving skills in Persia - the rug is produced by nomads and villagers in South east Iran - near the cities Shiraz, Kirman and Yazd. Afshar rugs are some of the few that merge nomadic and village weaving techniques.
