A Victorian masterpiece. Set with a magnificent deep and glowing blue sapphire, circled by three rows of enamel; two white rows and one wide row of blue. The blue enamal matches the blue of the sapphire exactly; utterly remarkable. Each row is seperated by fine lines of intricately "pitted" 18k gold. Four diamonds, set north / south / east / west interupt the enamel circles. A magnificent and rare ring.
Cut - Oval cut sapphire and round cut diamonds
Colour - Diamonds are H.
Clarity - All gems are VS.
Carat - The sapphire is approximately 5.50 carat. Each of the diamonds is estimated at 0.20 carat.
Condition - The enamel is totally undamaged. There are some surface scrathes to the metal which can easily be polished out if you would prefer.
Circa - 1880.
Size - Currently an O (UK) or 7 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements - The setting is 21.5mm by 17.8mm and sits 5.7mm from the finger.
Metal - 18k gold. Stamped. The diamonds are in silver
