Large Burr Walnut Jewellery Box, c.1850. The top and front of the Box are Burr Walnut and the sides and back straight grain. The box is a lovely size to be a jewellery or stationary/ document box. Open the lid to reveal the interior and a button to access the front drawer, this is shown in our photographs and demonstrated in our video. Also to the Top and front are escutcheons and the box has a working lock and key. The box has been professionally re-lined with attractive hand marbled paper. The box is in excellent condition as shown with an attractive polished finish. 12 inches wide x 9 inches Deep x 7 inches tall while closed.
