George III Bisham Abbey Sycamore Box, c.1810. The Box is Sycamore and Ebony inlaid. The Top of the box is inlaid with Rosewood with a set in panel with an applied engraving of Bisham Abbey on the River Thames in England. The box’s interior has been professionally re-lined with a hand marbled paper, creating an attractive, sophisticated and clean interior. The box is in excellent condition as shown with an attractive polished finish and working lock and key. 10.5 inches wide x 9.5 inches Deep x 5 inches tall while closed.
