A ring that's as versitile and it is beautiful. Bling enough to be a engagement ring; sturdy enough to be a wedding band; substantial enough to stand on it's own as a dress ring. Centered by a high white and clean old cut diamond of around 0.65 carats, which is flanked on both sides by a pairs of old cut diamonds and cornflower sapphires.
The stones have been remounted from an original Victorian ring into a white gold mount. Perfect for those who love antique jewellery, but aren't totally enamoured by yellow metal.
Cut - Both the sapphires and diamonds are old cuts.
Colour - Diamonds are G; near colourless.
Clarity - One of the smaller side diamonds is SI1 (but is totally clean to the naked eye); the other stones are all VS.
Carat - The central diamond is gauged at 0.65 carat, each of the smaller stones is approximately 0.15 carat. Total approximate weights are 0.30 carat for the sapphire and 0.95 carat for the diamonds.
Circa - The stones were all cut in the Victorian era. The setting is reproduced from the original Victorian ring, but in white gold.
Condition - Excellent.
Size - Currently K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements - The base of the band is 4.6mm and graduates up to 9.2mm at the widest point. Sits 4.1mm from the finger.
Metal - 14k (white) gold. Stamped.
