This mesmerising early Georgian single stone ring wears it age well. Tarnished to a glorious coppery-black and set with an impressively white and clean rose cut diamond. The fine filigree detailing decorates the shoulders. Remarkably preserved. A true piece of history.
Cut - Rose cut.
Colour - F.
Clarity - VVS.
Carat - Approximately 0.20 carat
Condition - Clear tarnishing to the metal, some nicks to the bezel holding the diamond (this is clear from the photos), though the diamond is securely set.
Circa - 1800.
Size - Currently K (UK) or 5 1/7 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements - The diamond, including the rub-over setting is 5.6mm in diameter. The band is 1.7mm at the base graduating to 8.4mm at the top. Sits 5.2mm from the finger
Metal - 15k gold. Tested.
