This amazing hot pinkish red ruby is so bright it almost glows. Set nice and low to the finger in a glorious early Victorian mount which, despite it's age, still holds all the intricate detailing running down the shoulders. Feminine and majestic.
Cut - Oval cut
Clarity - Displays what gemmologists call "silk," but this dones not impact and the brightness and life of the stone.
Carat - 2.75
Circa - 1850.
Condition - Excellent.
Size - Currently M (UK) or 6 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements - The ruby, including the claws, is 11.7mm by 9.2mm and sits a snug 3.3mm from the finger.
Metal - 15k gold. Tested.
