Lovely Victorian/Edwardian Silver Plated French Vesta Case.
Dating from the Victorian/Edwardian era, this French vesta case is sliver plated depicting a Hunter and his dog on the front. It’s a fascinating piece which features a running fox on the lid. The underside of the lid has the words “Brevete E.G.D.G”
There are several dings and dents and a noticeable split on one side. That said however, this is a stunning piece and quite unusual.
