Looking for something a little different? Well, this arresting and beautiful ring is just that. Set with a rich cognac coloured rose cut diamond in a gloriously hand-crafted mount. When this came in to our possession, the diamonds in the surround where either missing or damaged, so we replaced them with bright white modern stones, really highlighting the depth of the central rose cut. The eight-pronged star in the underneath is testament the workmanship and care that went into creating this masterpiece.

Cut - Rose cut diamonds in the centre and brilliant round cuts in the surround.

Colour - Natual fancy cognac in the centre. The surrounding diamonds are G.

Clarity - The middle diamond is SI3, with flaws visible the naked eye. The surrounding diamonds are VS.

Carat - 1.32 in the centre and a total of 0.56 carat in the surround

Circa - The mount and the main diamond are circa 1810. The surrounding diamonds are new.

Condition - Excellent.

Size - Currently N 1/2 (UK) or 6 3/4 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements - The cluster is 15mm by 15mm and sits 8.6mm from the finger.

Metal - 18k gold (tested). The diamonds are set in silver, which was typical in Georgian jewellery as they had no access to platinum or white gold.
