Old pear cut diamonds are so rare and so, so beautiful. The one centering this trilogy is very fine example: a substantial 1.10 carats; very clean and clear and displaying a wonderful warm champagne tint. Either side of the diamond are oval cut sapphires of a deep, royal blue. The stones have been remounted in a more modern setting. Originally, the stones would have been set in yellow gold, but having them in white means the colours of each other gems is more properly showcased. Made so a wedding band could sit flush.
