Such an impressive Victorian cluster. The dramatic, elongated ruby - of a deep, almost burgandy red - is rub-over set and surrounded by sixteen natural rose cut diamonds. Hand cut stones mounted in an entirely handmade ring. Timeless and stunning.
Cut - Old oval cut ruby and rose cut diamonds.
Colour - Diamonds are H.
Clarity - The diamonds are VS, the ruby is SI.
Carat - The ruby is approximatley 4.00 carat. The total diamond weight is estimated at 0.32 carat.
Circa - 1870.
Condition - Excellent.
Size - Currently M 1/2 (UK) or 6 1/4 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements - The cluster measures 17.5mm by 12.5mm and sits 6.3mm from the finger.
Metal - 18ct gold. Tested.
