A stunning natural and unenhanced star ruby displaying strong, clean asterism. Twenty old single cuts in the surround draw even more attention to the star. Beautiful detailing in the gallery and simple fluted shoulders add the finishing touches to the rare and beautiful ring.
Cut - Oval shaped cabochon with old single cut diamonds
Colour - Purply red.
Carat - Approximately 4.00, with an estimated 0.40 carat of diamonds
Circa - 1880.
Condition - Excellent.
Size - R (UK) or 8 5/8 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements - The cluster measures 14mm by 12.1mm and sits 7mm from the finger.
Metal - 15k yellow gold. The diamonds are set in silver. Tested.
