This is right up there with the most beautiful rings we have in our collection. The bright, almost electric, Colombian emerald centres a flower shaped cluster of sixteen old mine cut diamonds. All the diamonds are top white and very, very clean. A further two stones rest in the shoulders of the ring. High class, high quality - a just a little decadent.
Cut - Emerald cut emerald and old mine / miner cut diamonds.
Colour - Diamonds are F.
Clarity - The diamonds are VS2 (totally clean to the naked eye). The emerald had some visible inclusions as you would expect.
Carat - The emerald is estimated at 2.00 carat. The total diamond weight is approximately 2.75 carat.
Circa - 1880.
Measurements - The cluster is 19mm by 19mm and sits 7.5mm from the finger.
Size - N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal - The band is 18k yellow gold. The top of the ring is silver. The claws holding the emerald are in 18k yellow gold. Tested.
