A top grade Victorian pendant. A wonderfully electric opal with plays of orange, blue and green which is neatly surrounded twelve very bright, very white old mine cut diamonds in a closed back setting. A supremely elegant loop holds a 17 inch chain (which also includes a safety chain). Beautiful.
Cut - Oval cut cabochon opal and old cut diamonds.
Colour - Diamonds are G.
Clarity - Diamonds are all eye clean and range between VS and SI1.
Carat - The opal is approximately 2.00 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.00 carat.
Condition - Excellent.
Circa - 1890.
Metal - The stones are set in silver the clasp and the chain are 18k yellow gold. Tested.
