A handsome antique George 3rd mahogany and satin wood inlaid folding card table. The top is supported by 4 turned columns which end in a bottom shelf and it stands on 4 curved legs having ebony inlay and culminating in brass lions paw feet. The top lifts up and rotates to reveal a compartment for storing playing cards, counters, dice etc. and opens out to reveal a playing surface in tooled leather. The top is in a richly figured mahogany with satin wood inlay decoration. Please note: the top is bowed when closed and open – it curves up. the price reflects the bowed top.

Condition Report:
Solid. Finish is good, highly polished but the table top is bowed – it curves up on one side (please see photos). So top is slightly wobbly when open and appears slightly bowed when closed. Some mends to the legs where they meet the base – but stable and solid. The price reflects the bowed top.
